Our For Her range includes four ingredients that are often searched together. Here is what each one is.

Myo-inositol

A form of inositol, a compound naturally present in fruits, beans, grains and nuts. Supplements commonly provide 500 to 2,000 mg per serving. Zespo Myo-Inositol 600 mg.

Vitex (chasteberry)

The dried fruit of the chaste tree, Vitex agnus-castus, a shrub native to the Mediterranean. Labels usually list a standardised berry extract. Zespo Vitex Berry Extract 500 mg.

Cranberry extract

Made from the North American cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon), often standardised to proanthocyanidins (PACs). Zespo Cranberry Extract 500 mg.

D-Mannose

A simple sugar found naturally in small amounts in cranberries, apples and peaches. It is sold as a white powder or in capsules. Zespo D-Mannose 1,000 mg.

What to check before you buy

  • The amount of each ingredient per serving, not just per capsule
  • How many capsules make one serving and how many servings are in the pack
  • Whether any ingredient sits inside an undisclosed "proprietary blend"
  • An FSSAI licence number and the veg/non-veg mark on the pack
